The Pharmacy Assistant (Canadian Standards) program is an intensive 40-hour workplace readiness training designed to prepare learners for entry-level support roles in Canadian community pharmacies, with a specific focus on Ontario workplace standards. This 40-hour program is delivered in a structured 3-month learning pathway, combining self-paced online modules with guided simulation labs and live hybrid practice sessions.
The program includes hybrid components through guided simulator labs and optional live practice workshops (virtual or in-person), integrated within the 3-month learning pathway.
Learners build practical, job-ready skills in pharmacy workflow, patient intake, prescription processing basics (non-clinical scope), customer service, inventory support, labeling fundamentals, and hands-on familiarity with pharmacy software systems through guided simulations.
