MODULE 1 – Introduction to the Canadian Beauty Industry
This module introduces students to the structure, expectations, and professional standards of the Canadian beauty and aesthetics industry. Learners will gain an understanding of how internationally trained beauty professionals can transition into the Canadian market, including the non-medical practice boundaries that govern all salon-based services. The module also explores ethical responsibilities, informed consent, client rights, and industry-specific workplace behavior. Special emphasis is placed on communication skills, cultural sensitivity, inclusivity, and adapting beauty services to Canada’s diverse population. MODULE 2 – Canadian Health, Hygiene & Safety Standards in Beauty Services
This module develops essential makeup artistry skills while incorporating Canadian beauty trends and multicultural client needs. Students will learn professional fundamentals including color theory, skin tone analysis, face-shape adaptation, and corrective makeup techniques. Instruction also covers eye-makeup structure, brow mapping basics, lash lift essentials, and non-medical facial beauty procedures such as skin preparation and surface-level enhancement. Additional focus is placed on creating age-appropriate looks including techniques tailored for mature skin. By the end of this module, learners will be able to design natural, glamour, bridal, and everyday makeup applications that are safe, professional, and suitable for diverse Canadian clients.

The module concludes with aftercare guidelines, maintenance routines, and professional client-safety protocols required for delivering high-quality brow services in Canada.
