International Healthcare PSW Bridging Program (IH-PSBP) is a 40-hour hybrid training program designed for internationally educated healthcare professionals who want to adapt their experience to the Canadian healthcare support environment.

Delivered over a flexible 3-month learning period, the program introduces participants to the Canadian Personal Support Worker (PSW) care setting, workplace expectations, and essential patient support practices used in long-term care, home care, and community healthcare services.

Through five structured modules, learners develop foundational knowledge in healthcare systems, professional ethics, communication, infection prevention, patient support practices, and cultural competence.

Participants who successfully complete the program receive a Certificate of Completion recognizing continuing education and professional preparation.

This program is a bridging and continuing education course and does not grant licensure or authorization to practice.
